A-Fund chips in to pay security deposit for two Greek anarchists

Anarchists Giorgos Kalaitzidis and Nikos from a Greek collective ROUVIKONAS are facing arrest for an attack on the Parliament building on May 21. This should have been qualified as an infraction, but they were accused of a crime of attacking historical buildings, and now activists face up to 10 years in prison. By June 14, their comrades were collecting 60,000 euros to pay for the security deposit for both comrades, so they could remain on the outside before trial.

The A-Fund unanimously decided to support the comrades and do what we can to prevent them from being arrested – 368.8 EUR were sent to their solidarity committee. You can also make a donation here.

If you want to make sure that any anarchist anywhere in a similar situation is supported, you should really kick in to International Anarchist Defense Fund!
